I am sure by now if you spent any time online, it seems everyone is an expert on how to make a business be profitable. Do you really think you can make money on the internet? There are many people who would tell you, that you have a better chance of winning the lottery a few times, or winning the big one in Vegas, than you do trying to make money on the Internet. The ability to make money has been elusive for more than just a few, as evidenced by the unusually high failure rate. Why do you think they failed? It could be any number of reasons, but the fact is, they failed. Most likely they gave up on any future attempts to try and make money on the internet. This can be a good thing for you, because too many people think that they can be a success with no effort. The real key to success is the daily focus and dedication to working your home business.
How you approach your business is one very large deciding factor. How do you want to approach your business - as a hobby or as an occupation to generate real income? Is it difficult to take, or make, the time to learn? For the majority it is. Learning takes time, but it can be done - I am proof of that. I have also learned to be patient - believe me, I was one of the impatient ones who wanted to make money online instantly and everything to happen now, just like too many people out there. They just don’t get it and refuse to accept that it will likely take years of daily discipline to be successful. Problem is everything is at our fingertips in an instant. Click a button on our computers and instantly the information is in front of us. Put some food in the microwave and in seconds it’s ready. If we have to wait for any length of time, watch out! We want it and we want it now. The thing is, success does not happen that way. Success is usually attained by long grueling hours at the computer, sometimes for years, before we see real success at the ability to make money online.
If you really want to make the kind of steady income - either residual or not, that will stay with you in your business, there is a foundation that has to be built and it is hard work. Success doesn’t even happen that way off-line. So many people will quit before they actually learn the various methods used to make money on the internet. Stop being so impatient, stop wanting everything right away. Take the time to appreciate the new skills you need to learn and develop.
