Branding, signature lines, tag lines all mean a set of words that describe you; a symbol that becomes your own. Somewhat like Target with the big Red Rings that look like a bulls eye, or MacDonald Golden Arches. A Signature line is a phrase, sentence or two that link to your website or blog. They are used at ends of letters, emails, advertisements, in forums, articles you write and blog posts. You must keep your name and branding in front of the public at all times until it becomes a house hold word. To make money from home involves multiple ways to drive targeted traffic to your web site.
In social marketing and in other aress we use message boards to comunicate. It important to use message boards, making ever post count. Remember though that people want serious content with your tag line. If you always offer something of service then they are more likely to bookmark you and follow your articles. It is often said in marketing that you need to be seen 7 times before someone buys. Do make sure that whatever types of message boards you are using allows signature lines so you don’t waste your time and get in trouble for having done some unauthorized advertising.
Often people get on message boards only to advertise their product or service. That is a BIG mistake. Write about things that are useful for those less experienced in running an online business so they to can make money from home. You should always be friendly and willing to help. This will be an excellent way to get your name and branding out there. If you help enough people get what they want and need, eventually you will get what you need. People will seek your help and work with you when they feel your honesty and willingness to help others.
In the old days, a lot of our mothers and grandmothers had house parties, gathering together in friendship to sell their wares. Now we have online conference rooms where you can throw a cyber space party in a chat room or have a webinar. These cyber conference rooms can be extremely inexpensive if you know where to look and very effective. It’s a great way to have a party or a training session for your group.
I’d suggest you work with a online affiliate programs as they have paved the road for you. They normally have one or several web sites for you and a great deal of training. However one thing not normally mentioned is you cannot optimize an affilite site. They are all the same and only the main company is on page one of a Google Search and Page ONE is the only page to be on. You can learn to do this and these are skills that are a must have to make money online.
You can also do link exchanges or back links so you will be picked up by the search engines. That is where you link to someone’s web or blog and they link to yours. It is best if the reciprocal link is not competitive but cooperative. For example you sell dishes and cutlery and another site sells tables and chairs. Do check to make sure both links are live and keep working, Recheck every once in a while. To make money online it is the kiss of death to have ‘dead’ links on your sites.
One of my favorite is Blogging. It is an excellent way to develop a business and make money from home. I suggest you add it to your 4 or 5 ways to bring people to your site. I’d suggest going to www.google.com and get a separate Gmail email account using your carefully selected key words. Then go to blogger.com again using the same key words, start a blog to help bring up your franchise web site in the search engines. You can express your ideas, communicate with customers and do forms of advertisement about your products and services. This becomes like an online newsletter. Later when you are ready check into word press and get several blogs going at one time, all linked together.
It will help you greatly if you work with a team of people and can find a mentor that you relate well with. These are just a few examples.
